EZRA Conference 2006

In December 2006, two students from Mangosuthu Technikon in Durban attended the Ezra Conference, hosted by FOCUS Kenya, in Nairobi.  Zamo Ngcobo and Linda Zulu attended the conference, which takes it’s theme from Ezra 7:10 – “The Law of the Lord: Studying it, Practising it, Teaching it”. 

Zamo writes of his experience: “My life is no longer the same since I went to Kenya, and if you had known me before; I am now a different person, my mission to Kenya really transformed me.  The trip to Kenya was wonderful in such a way that I am considering going back again...
The seminars have changed me, and taught me. I am equipped in many levels. My life is no longer the same; it is transformed.”

Zamo also experienced fellowship with Kenyan students: “After the Conference when we were doing mission trips – visiting Universities, having fellowship together and sharing experiences, I discovered that the Kenyan people love Jesus. We were blessed at how welcoming and loving the people of Kenya are – many would invite us home for a meal…”
Zamo and Linda are currently teaching some of the Inductive Bible Study that they learned at Ezra Conference in their branch.
