CPUT Opening Camp 2007 (Bellville Campus)

S.C.O Bellville campus had their "Welcoming camp" on the 2nd-4th March

2007 at the Rotary Campsite in Strandfontein. There were 30 people who attended and the response was great. The theme of the camp was “Hate what is evil and cling to what is good", It touched on issues of living a fun life in Christ as a young man or woman, the do's and don'ts.  We also tackled the issue of Love among Christians. Basically when we love one another we aid one another in our troubles, that enable us to “Hate was is evil and cling to what is good", we were put in groups to discuss issues and in those groups, we were tasked to know our group members in and out - THE ISSUE OF LOVE. 

The food was plenty and it was mouth watering, some gained 2-3kg in that week only because we ate non-stop.  The venue was beautiful; it accommodated us socially, spiritually and otherwise. We were spiritually enriched.
